Step-By-Step Instructions:

Overview

This guide walks you through updating the Nexpart and or, the WISE Connect catalog in Mitchell 1® Manager SE / ShopKey.

Step 1: Verify Your Current Catalogs

• Open Mitchell
• Select the Quote tab at the top of the screen.

• Review the Catalogs displayed.
  • Confirm which catalogs are available (Legacy Nexpart, WISE Connect, or both).

• • Open each catalog and note the connected vendors.

• Check if Nexpart Multi-Seller available? If available, note the existing sellers connected in the Dashboard.

• Once confirmed, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Close Mitchell 1® on All Computers

Make sure Mitchell is fully closed on all computers before proceeding.

• Close Mitchell on all workstations
• Close Mitchell on the server computer

Once Mitchell is closed on all computers, proceed to Step 3.

Step 3: Access the Server Computer

The update must be completed from the server computer.

• Go to your Mitchell 1® server computer
• Open a web browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.)

Step 4: Download the Update

• In the web browser, click, or copy and paste the following link to navigate to the download page: https://www.nexpart.com/mitchell/Nexpart_CONNECTION_Mitchell_Migration_Setup.exe

• Note: Some browsers will display a prompt asking you to confirm or keep the file before downloading.
  If the file does not download immediately click "keep" or "download anyways" to begin the download.
• The file will appear in your browser’s download area
  • If prompted, select Keep / Download File

• • Important Reminder: Close Mitchell 1® on all workstations before opening the file.
    • If the file does not open:
      • Open the Downloads folder
      • Locate the file: Nexpart - CONNECTION Mitchell Migration Setup.exe
      • Double-click the file to launch the installer

Step 5: Run the Installer

• After selecting Open File, the installer will launch
• Select Install

Select Finish

• Select Start Update to begin
  
  • A backup will capture existing catalogs and vendor configurations.

• Select Continue Update

The update will complete automatically.

• Close the update window
• Restart Mitchell 1® on all computers (servers and workstations)

What to Expect After the Update

• • The Install Wizard will add the correct updated catalogs based on your current setup
    • Existing Nexpart access will be updated to the new Nexpart catalog
    • Existing WISE Connect access will be updated to ACDelco CONNECTION
    • If both catalogs were previously available, both Nexpart and ACDelco CONNECTION will be installed

• All available vendors will be automatically connected Multi-Seller will be available as an optional buying experience, and your vendors will be connected. (when applicable)

Verify your setup

• In Mitchell 1® select the Quote tab
• Confirm that Nexpart, ACDelco CONNECTION, or both are available.
